The blue oval model managed to survive among the extremely strong competition, where the rivals against the Fusion were 23 other cars, among which was Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, BMW 7 Series D¸ Mercedes-Benz E-Class. But the company of Ford showed its flexibility in these hard times, providing the car users and the car market with one remarkable car and charming car for the great majority of drivers. The editor-in-chief of Motor Trend magazine – Angus MacKenzie was very pleased with the new version of Ford Fusion and the fact that, this car is competitive with car that are best sellers like Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. He also added that it is not surprising the fact that Fusion entered in the list of 10 top sold cars in the United States.

The new Fusion managed to win the price of the magazine because this model has combined all the things desired from a new model of a car – it has a good quality, it has a good price, it is well-equipped, and there is a possibility for the customer to choose from sport of hybrid modification.

The American Ford Fusion has nothing to do with the car with same name that is selling in Europe. The American sedan is manufactured on the platform of Mazda 6 and the basis engine is four-cylinder petrol unit with volume 2.5 liters. The car could be also found with six-cylinder petrol unit engines with volume 3.0 and 3.5 liters. And as we mentioned early this model of Ford Fusion has also a hybrid version that uses engine with volume 2.5 liters but reduced to 152 hp power there is also a version with electro motor with power of 106 hp.
